I was recently thinking about getting a VR headset to start experimenting with stuff like this. Few folks I’ve talked find the idea of navigating information in 3D intuitively appealing. It seems to resonate better than 2D hyperlinked documents and authoring tools. The resonance makes sense because most of us navigate in 3D space so our physical intuitions can be used in a 3D VR environment much better than a flat 2D screen.
